Appena terminato il Tour de France, la LAMPRE-MERIDA si prepara al prossimo appuntamento agonistico.
La formazione blu-fucsia-verde sarà impegnata nel prossimo fine settimana in Spagna, partecipando alla Clasica San Sebastian (sabato 30 luglio) e al Circuito di Getxo (domenica 31 luglio).
Il direttore sportivo Marzano avrà a disposizione otto corridori: Matteo Bono, Mario Costa Ilia Koshevoy, Manuele Mori, Przemyslaw Niemiec, Simone Petilli, Luka Pibernik e Diego Ulissi.
Lo staff operativo sarà composto dal Dottor Ronchi, dai meccanici Baron e Romanò e dai massaggiatori Capelli e Negri.
"Impegno e concentrazione sono i requisiti primari per riuscire a essere competitivi in entrambe le gare - ha spiegato il ds Marzano - La Clasica San Sebastian è tra le corse di un giorno più intense del circuito World Tour, il percorso si addice alle caratteristiche di Ulissi, ma l'evoluzione di questa gara è spesso insidiosa e di conseguenza tutta la squadra dovrà essere reattiva nel supportare Diego.
Abbiamo corridori versatili che ci possono garantire una presenza nelle fughe e un prezioso lavoro in appoggio al capitano, tanto nella Clasica di San Sebastian quanto nel Circuito di Getxo".
The Tour de France has just finished and LAMPRE-MERIDA is already preparing the next appointments, which will take place in the weekend in Spain.
The blue-fuchsia-green team will participate in the Clasica San Sebastian (30th July) and in the Circuito de Getxo (31st July) with a line-up in which there will be eight riders, directed by Marco Marzano: Matteo Bono, Mario Costa Ilia Koshevoy, Manuele Mori, Przemyslaw Niemiec, Simone Petilli, Luka Pibernik and Diego Ulissi.
"Dedication and concentration are the primary conditions for being competitive in both the races - sports director Marzano explained - The Clasica San Sebastian is one of the most demanding one day races in the World Tour circuit, the course could be suitable for Ulissi, however we're aware that the plot of this race is often varying, so we must be ready to support Diego in every situation.
In our line-up there will be versatile riders who can both joining the breakaways or working in help of the captain".
