VF GROUP BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: SECONDO POSTO PER PINARELLO NELLA CLASSIFICA FINALE AL TOUR OF ANTALYA.

Il veneto classe 2003 si assicura il secondo posto nella classifica finale. 8° posto di tappa per Lorenzo Conforti.

Si chiude questa trasferta turca al Tour of Antalya con un podio nella classifica finale per la VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè. Alessandro Pinarello difende la seconda posizione nella generale conquistata nella tappa regina di ieri, anche grazie al prezioso supporto dei compagni di squadra. Nella volata del gruppo, alle spalle della fuga vincente, Lorenzo Conforti si piazza all'ottavo posto. Una prestazione di assoluto livello per la squadra più giovane al via di questo Tour of Antalya, con un'eta media di 21 anni.

Le dichiarazioni di Pinarello:"Oggi abbiamo controllato bene la gara gestendo le fughe al meglio insieme alle altre squadre, ringrazio i miei compagni che sono stati impeccabili in queste quattro tappe e ringrazio soprattutto le persone che mi sono state vicine, in particolare la mia famiglia. Il mio prossimo obiettivo è fare bene al Laigueglia, prima corsa del calendario italiano".

Le dichiarazioni del DS Mirko Rossato, che, insieme a Luca Amoriello, ha diretto la squadra in questo Tour of Antalya:"Sono state quattro giornate difficili, dove, a parte la prima tappa, abbiamo sempre affrontato percorsi esigenti con tanta salita. Siamo contenti della prestazione dei ragazzi e siamo orgogliosi della loro crescita, potevamo persino vincere questo giro se ci avessimo creduto di più con Pinarello, ma siamo davvero soddisfatti del secondo posto, siamo sulla strada giusta per raccogliere altri risultati importanti in futuro".

VF GROUP BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: SECOND PLACE FOR PINARELLO IN THE FINAL CLASSIFICATION AT THE TOUR OF ANTALYA.

The young 21-year-old secures the second place in the final classification. 8th place in the stage for Lorenzo Conforti.

This Turkish tour at the Tour of Antalya concludes with the podium in the final classification for the VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè. Alessandro Pinarello defends the second position in the general classification obtained in yesterday's queen stage, also thanks to the valuable support of his teammates. In the sprint of the group, behind the winning breakaway, Lorenzo Conforti places eighth. An absolutely outstanding performance for the youngest team at the start of this Tour of Antalya, with an average age of 21 years.

Pinarello's statements: "Today we controlled the race well, managing the breakaways together with the other teams. I thank my teammates who have been impeccable in these four stages and I especially thank the people who have been close to me, particularly my family. My next goal is to perform well in Laigueglia, the first race of the Italian calendar."

Statements from Mirko Rossato, who, together with Luca Amoriello, directed the team in this Tour of Antalya: "It has been four difficult days, where except for the first stage, we have always faced demanding routes with lots of climbs. We are pleased with the performance of the boys and proud of their growth. We could even have won this tour if we had believed more with Pinarello, but we are happy with second place. We are on the right path to achieve other important results."
