Vincenzo Nibali richiede un intervento chirurgico dopo l'incidente del Tour de France
Vincenzo Nibali subirà un intervento chirurgico per la frattura della decima delle vertebre toraciche dopo l'incidente intercorso durante la 12a tappa del Tour de France di giovedì 19 luglio.

"Dopo aver consultato lo staff medico del Team BAHRAIN MERIDA con vari specialisti e dopo un attento esame delle condizioni cliniche dell'atleta e delle prospettive future" spiega il dottor Emilio Magni del team  BAHRAIN MERIDA" il team e il corridore hanno accettato la decisione di sottoporsi ad un intervento di vertebroplastica percutanea. La procedura si svolgerà la prossima settimana in Italia ".
 
 
Vincenzo Nibali requires surgery after Tour de France crash

Vincenzo Nibali will undergo surgery for the treatment of the tenth thoracic vertebrae fracture after a crash during Stage 12 of Tour de France on Thursday July 19th.

“After consultations of the Team BAHRAIN MERIDA medical staff with various specialists and after an attentive and careful examination of the athlete’s clinical condition and future perspectives” explains BAHRAIN MERIDA Pro Cycling Team Doctor Emilio Magni “the Team and the rider agreed to the decision to have a percutaneous vertebroplasty surgery. The procedure is going to take place on next week in Italy”.
