TOUR OF HAINAN: MARECZKO PARTE CON UN SECONDO POSTO
E' il 17° podio della stagione di Jakub Mareczko a dare il via al Tour of Hainan di una Wilier Triestina - Selle Italia che è stata la squadra faro nella 1^ tappa vinta allo sprint da Jon Aberasturi.
Le maglie della squadra diretta da Serge Parsani si sono infatti viste costantemente in testa al gruppo all'inseguimento dei quattro fuggitivi di giornata che sono stati ripresi a 10 km dall'arrivo.
Stessa sorte toccava in seguito allo statunitense Shelden per una frazione che, come da previsioni, si concludeva con una volata in cui #Kuba è rimasto inizialmente chiuso e la sua grande rimonta non è servita a conquistare il decimo successo stagionale. Da segnalare in top 10 anche l'ottavo posto di Eugert Zhupa.
Domani 230 km verso Haikou e lo scenario che non dovrebbe cambiare con Mareczko che andrà a caccia di rivincite
TOUR OF HAINAN: MARECZKO STARTS WITH A SECOND PLACE
The 17th podium of the season of Jakub Mareczko kicks off the Tour of Hainan of a team Wilier Triestina - Selle Italia that was one of the strongest teams in the 1st stage won by Jon Aberasturi.
The jerseys of the team directed by Serge Parsani were costantly in the head of the peloton during the chase of the 4 riders breakaway that was brought back in the peloton with 10 kms to go.
Same destiny for the following attack of the american Shelden for a stage that ended with a sprint where #Kuba couldn't express all his power and his come back wasn't enough to achieve the 10th win in the season. In the top 10 there was a spot also for Eugert Zhupa, 8th.
Tomorrow 230 kms to Haikou and a scenario that shouldn't change with Mareczko that is gonna look for revenge.
