Nel prossimo fine settimana, la LAMPRE-MERIDA respirerà aria di nord, correndo nella Bruxelles Cycling Classic (sabato 3 settembre, 199,3 km con partenza e arrivo a Bruxelles) e nel Gp Fourmies/La Voix du Nord (domenica 4 settembre, 205 km con partenza e arrivo a Fourmies, Francia).
Diretti da Orlando Maini, saranno 8 gli atleti che si schiereranno al via di entrambe le corse.
Spicca il debutto in blu-fucsia-verde dello stagista Troia, che avrà modo di provare l'emozione di correre tra i professionisti accanti ai compagni di squadra Davide Cimolai, Rui Costa, Chun Kai Feng, Roberto Ferrari, Marko Kump, Sacha Modolo e Matej Mohoric.
Lo staff operativo sarà composto dal medico di squadra Dottor Ronchi, dai meccanici Ronny Baron e Mattia Romanò, dai massaggiatori Fabio Della Torre e Stefano Santerini e dall'autista Luigi Saronni.
"Sono due corse nelle quali i velocisti potranno avere buone possibilità di essere chiamati a disputare volate per il successo, da questo punto di vista possiamo contare su un buon comparto di sprinter che annovera Modolo, Cimolai, Ferrari e Kump - ha spiegato il ds Maini - Mohoric e Rui Costa hanno le qualità necessarie per essere presenti in eventuali azioni nei finali di gara, mentre da Feng e dall'esordiente Troia ci attendiamo generosità nel provare a unirsi a fughe da lontano e nel mettersi a disposizione dei compagni".
In the next weekend, LAMPRE-MERIDA will race on the Northern roads participating in the Bruxelles Cycling Classic (Saturday 3rd September, 199,3 km with start and arrival in Bruxelles) and in the Gp Fourmies/La Voix du Nord (Sunday 4th September, 205 km with start and arrival in Fourmies, France).
For both the races, in the blue-fuchsia-green lineup there will be Davide Cimolai, Rui Costa, Chun Kai Feng, Roberto Ferrari, Marko Kump, Sacha Modolo and Matej Mohoric.
The team will be directed by Orlando Maini, who'll receive the support by the team physician Dr Ronchi, by the sports directors Baron and Romanò, by the masseurs Della Torre and Santerini and by the driver Luigi Saronni.
