LA BARDIANI-CSF AL GIRO D’ITALIA

Il #GreenTeam presente anche alla Milano-Sanremo e Tirreno-Adriatico

L’appuntamento più atteso dalla Bardiani-CSF è ora ufficialmente in calendario. Il #GreenTeam sarà al via del Giro d’Italia 2019, che partirà l’11 maggio da Bologna e si concluderà il 2 giugno a Verona, grazie alla wild card concessa da RCS Sport. Ma non è tutto: oltre alla Corsa Rosa la Bardiani-CSF ha ricevuto l’invito a partecipare alla prima classica monumento della stagione, la Milano-Sanremo (23 marzo), e alla Tirreno-Adriatico (13-19 marzo). Le tre gare figurano nel calendario UCI World Tour.

La Bardiani-CSF può così celebrare la sua settima partecipazione al Giro in sette anni di attività (lo stesso vale per la Classicissima) mentre per Bruno Reverberi il record di partecipazioni tocca quota 37 in 38 anni di attività. Numeri di assoluto rilievo, così come il computo dei successi (27 tappe vinte e sei maglie), che rendono il gruppo sportivo Reverberi una realtà unica nel panorama ciclistico mondiale. 

“Non abbiamo mai nascosto che il Giro d’Italia è, da sempre, l’obiettivo numero uno della nostra attività agonistica, così come la presenza nelle corse più importanti d’Italia, Milano-Sanremo e Tirreno-Adriatico in primis” ha affermato Bruno Reverberi. 

“Anno dopo anno il ciclismo diventa sempre più globale e la concorrenza per essere al via sempre più serrata. Dal 2013, grazie al supporto di Bardiani e CSF, abbiamo intrapreso una strada nuova improntata non solo sui risultati ma anche su un progetto dedicato ai giovani. In un ciclismo in continua evoluzione, siamo sempre più convinti che sia la strada giusta per dare valore e distinzione ad una squadra come la nostra. L’invito di RCS Sport, che ringraziamo, è il miglior attestato che potessimo ricevere”.

La conferma delle wild card arriva nel giorno in cui il #GreenTeam ha concluso il suo ritiro di quindici giorni in Spagna. Il rientro in Italia è previsto per domani. Già annunciato il debutto ufficiale, fissato per il 12 febbraio al Tour Colombia, seguito da quello italiano al Trofeo Laigueglia il 17. Prossimamente saranno confermati anche gli altri appuntamenti che completano la prima parte della stagione agonistica.

The most awaited event by Bardiani-CSF is now officially scheduled. The #GreenTeam will be at the start of 2019 Giro d’Italia, which will start on May 11 from Bologna and will end on June 2 in Verona, thanks to the wild card granted by RCS Sport. In addition to the Corsa Rosa Bardiani-CSF received the invitation to ride first monument classic of the season, Milano-Sanremo (March 23), and Tirreno-Adriatico (March 13-19). The three races are included in the UCI World Tour calendar.

Bardiani-CSF can thus celebrate its seventh participation in seven years of activity (the same for the Classicissima) while for Bruno Reverberi the record of participation reaches 37 in 38 years as manager. Numbers of absolute importance, as well as the count of successes (27 stages won and six shirts), which make the Reverberi sports group a unique reality in the world cycling scene.

"We have never hidden that  Giro d'Italia has always been out biggest calendar in the season, as well as the chance to attend the most important races in Italy, Milano-Sanremo and Tirreno-Adriatico above all” said Bruno Reverberi.

The confirmation of the wild cards arrives on the day when the #GreenTeam ended its fifteen days training camp in Spain. The return to Italy is scheduled for tomorrow. The official debut has already been announced and scheduled for February 12 at Colombia Tour, followed by the Italian one at Trofeo Laigueglia on the 17th. The other races that complete the first part of the racing season will be confirmed soon.
