FILIPPO POZZATO ALLA DOMENICA SPORTIVA: TESTA AL GIRO D'ITALIA, CUORE CON MICHELE SCARPONI
Il nostro Filippo Pozzato è stato ospite ieri sera alla "Domenica Sportiva" su Rai2 dove ha fatto il punto della situazione non dimenticandosi però del suo amico e compagno di squadra Michele Scarponi, scomparso sabato mattina.
"Michele era un personaggio particolare, irriverente, unico. Abbiamo fatto un anno in squadra insieme ed era un vero piacere andare alle corse con lui. Quando ho visto i messaggi non volevo crederci, venerdì avevamo chiuso un durissimo Tour of the Alps e il giorno dopo alle 8 del mattino era già in bici. E' una grande tragedia".
Non è mancato un focus verso il prossimo Giro d'Italia "Sognavo di fare questo mestiere fin da bambino, quando andavo a chiedere gli autografi a Stefano Allocchio. Partecipare alla centesima edizione è un onore per tutti noi italiani e il desiderio è ovviamente quello di vincere una tappa. Ce ne sono due o tre adatte a me, sarà importante inserirsi nelle fughe da lontano per raggiungere l'obiettivo desiderato".

FILIPPO POZZATO ON THE ITALIAN TV: HEAD AT THE GIRO D'ITALIA, HEART WITH MICHELE SCARPONI
Our Filippo Pozzato was on of the main guests in yesterday evening tv program "Domenica Sportiva" where he took the stock of the situation about the plans for his future and with a special dedication in memory of his friend and former team mate Michele Scarponi.
"Michele was a unique character, funny and irreverent. We were team mates for a season and it was such a pleasure to go to the races with him. When I saw the messages on the phone I couldn't believe it, on friday we ended a very hard Tour of the Alps and the day after at 8 o'clock he was already training. This is an horrible tragedy".
Pozzato is also concentrated on the Giro d'Italia "I always wanted to be a cyclist, when I was a kid I was going to ask the autographs to my idle, Stefano Allocchio. Join the 100th edition is an honor for all the italian riders and my dream is obviously a stage win. There are two or three chances for a rider like me and it's gonna be important to join the breakaways to reach my goal".
The #Maestro is ready to go, follow him from the 5th to the 28th of may.
