Le attenzioni della LAMPRE-MERIDA per il prossimo fine settimana non si concentreranno solamente sulla Spagna, ma spazieranno anche tra il Belgio e la Francia.
I corridori della formazione del team manager Copeland parteciperanno sabato 5 settembre alla Bruxelles Cycling Classic e domenica 6 settembre al Gp Fourmies.
Il direttore sportivo Mario Scirea schiererà al via di entrambe le corse gli stessi 7 ciclisti: Niccolò Bonifazio, Mario Costa, Chun Kai Feng, Roberto Ferrari, Sacha Modolo, Filippo Pozzato e Xu Gang.
Rimandato l'esordio da stagista di Luca Pacioni, vittima sfortunata di una caduta in occasione del Gp Fiera di Sommacampagna.
Grande qualità nel comparto della ruote veloci, con il terzetto di uomini jet composto da Bonifazio, Ferrari e Modolo, senza dimenticare anche lo spunto di Pozzato.
Mario Costa, Feng e Xu Gang potranno mettersi in mostra curando le fughe nella prima parte delle corse.
La vittoria nella Bruxelles Classic sarà assegnata dopo 200,8 km di gara, mentre il Gp Fourmies si correrà sulla distanza dei 205 km.
In the weekend, the attention of the LAMPRE-MERIDA will be focused not only on Spain, but also on two races which will take place in Belgium and in France.
The cyclists from the team of the team manager Brent Copeland will participate in Bruxelles Cycling Classic (Saturday 5 September) and in Gp Fourmies (Sunday 6 September).
For these two races, the sport director Mario Scirea will direct 7 riders: Niccolò Bonifazio, Mario Costa, Chun Kai Feng, Roberto Ferrari, Sacha Modolo, Filippo Pozzato and Xu Gang.
Luca Pacioni is forced to postpone his debut as trainee because he got injuried in a crash which occurred yesterday during an Under 23 race.
The team's strong point will be the fast wheels group, whose members will be the very fast trio Bonifazio-Ferrari-Modolo and Pozzato.
Xu Gang, Mario Costa and Feng will have the opportunity to join the breakaway which usually beging in the early part of the races.
